Mr. May and I have been married for 20 years. Mr. May is my hero. He is a genius with computers and loves all things technological. He has a passion for his family, baseball, and golden retrievers.
Trevon, or Trey, (a.k.a. Mike) is our oldest child living at home and our 4th adopted child. His sense of humor is unique and he keeps us laughing. Trevon keeps us informed on basketball and current events. He is a valued employee at our local KFC. In his free time, Trey enjoys playing Rock Band on his Xbox and getting all of his siblings to join in.
Joseph (a.k.a. Leo) is next. He is our oldest biological child. Joe is our history buff. He is currently attending an IB school, so his homework load is intense. Joseph also plays baseball for both our local high school and a local travel team. Lately, in Joe’s free time, he has been trying his hand at investments and the stock market. Thankfully, he has been using a program to trade and no real money is involved.
Elizabeth (a.k.a. Lu) is our oldest daughter living at home and is our second biological child. She is smart and artistic. Three years ago, Lizzie was diagnosed with PANDAS, a chronic autoimmune disorder that has severely limited her ability to perform daily tasks. She has since been diagnosed with Lyme Disease as well. Calvin is Lizzie’s service dog that she had the privilege of training under the tutelage of her mentor. Lizzie is extremely gifted at working with and training dogs. Her enthusiasm has earned her an internship with a professional service and assistant dog training business.
Jonathan (a.k.a. Eddy) is our third biological child. He is compassionate and confident. He loves adventures, technology, and science. Jon was recently accepted into the same IB high school that Joseph attends and is looking forward to his upcoming Freshman year. In Jon’s free time, he enjoys reading, solving puzzles, or playing his PS4.
Simon is next in line. His adoption finalization is coming up soon. Simon will be our 5th adopted child. He has been a part of our family for nearly a year now and it’s hard to remember what life was like without him. Simon is athletic, captivating, and determined. He loves sports, especially football. In his free time, Simon enjoys playing football or basketball, playing tricks on me and his siblings, or playing Xbox.
Emma (a.k.a. Marie) is our youngest daughter and our youngest biological child. She is an avid reader and animal lover. Emma has been learning dog training from her older sister, Lizzie. They both developed a love for dog sports, and after a year of sticking with dog agility lessons, Emma got her very own sporting dog, Bob. Emma and Bob can often be found together practicing tricks, training on agility equipment, or cuddling up to a good book.
Shaun (a.k.a. SJ) is our first adopted child. He joined our family when he was 18 months old. Shaun is all boy. He loves sports, swimming, playing outside, and getting dirty. When Shaun finally sits down, he can often be found learning about math or playing his iPad.
Theodore (a.k.a. James) is the baby of the family. He was adopted from foster care when he was 15 months old. He is mischievous and clever, always climbing and finding things to get into. He is mechanical and likes to take things apart to figure out how they work. Theo is completely addicted to Paw Patrol.
